About
Arielle Haze
I was born and raised in South Florida, and moved to Los Angeles, California in late 2003! I spent my childhood going to weddings with my dad, an at-the-time world-famous Wedding Officiant! Upon entering high school, I delved into my passion of photography, and shot my first wedding at age 16. Over the next few years, I honed my skill as a photographer; and, upon college graduation, I began shooting weddings and events on a regular basis!
In 1999, I achieved my Notary Republic license from the state of Florida, followed in 2002 by my Ministry Certification from the Universal Life Church. I could now perform weddings, and that was a very exciting prospect!
In February 2003, a friend flew me back to Florida to photograph her wedding; but, unfortunately, her Officiant never showed up (she was stuck in traffic)! I was the only person available who was legally allowed to perform the ceremony; so, with laughter and professionalism, I officiated and photographed the wedding at the same time! One of my best wedding memories to date!
Now it’s your turn! Let’s make another amazing memory!
I grew up in the spotlight (acting, singing, dancing) and I am at my happiest when I can give back and still perform. I came to Los Angeles in September 2000 and couldn’t have been happier when my sister decided to join me in 2003. She is an amazing wedding photographer as well as a very talented officiant. When she was working with her photography clients, more often than not they would ask her if she could reccomend a great officiant. Training me was a lot easier than trying to officiate and shoot photographs at the same time.
My entire childhood was spent with her and my Father going to weddings that he officiated. We would hold the tape recorder and help out our Father. There is nothing as fulfilling as being a part of a couple’s most memorable day. With half my family being Jewish and my mother raising me buddhist, I chose to perform non-denomination ceremonies. Though some of the greatest weddings I’ve done have involved traditions from a variety of backgrounds (broomhopping, ribbon ceremonies.. the list goes on). Now I offer non-denominational services as well as “light religious” services. I have found many couples in LA have a religious background but are not practicing on a regular basis and would like to incorporate this into their ceremonies.
As well as being an LA Wedding Woman, I also created a non-profit to raise awarenss and educate women under 40 about the effects of breast cancer. I am a 4 year survivor and am incredibly grateful to be in the business I’m in. Your happy days are my happy days!
