We have a variety of packages to accommodate the wedding ceremony or vow renewal of your dreams. Read below or scroll over the services tab for details on each ceremony package.

The Customized – A Unique Ceremony and Officiating of  your Wedding or Vow Renewal

This package includes:

* A consultation and planning “get to know each other” meeting, usually in-person or via video chat or phone (if you are not local to Los Angeles)
* A unique, customized ceremony written just for you (with your edits and approvals)
* Help with your personal vows and any other wedding, license or vendor guidance you may need
* 30 minute early arrival to your ceremony site to help you in any way that we can

* Unlimited guest count and bridal party size
* Unlimited calls and emails
* A printed and digital copy of your ceremony and vows
* Ceremony processional & recessional coordination consultation
* Rehearsal plan outline (the rehearsal is not included because it will be on another date and time)
* Coordination with your emcee, musicians, photographer, videographer, wedding planner, event staff, family, and whomever else you wish me to plan with to ensure a perfect ceremony
* Signing your marriage license as your non-denominational officiant/minister (if applicable, as you may already be legally married)
*Certified mailing of your marriage license or in-person drop off to the Registrar-Recorder County Clerk (if applicable, as you may already be legally married)

We charge $725 for writing and performing your beautiful ceremony!

We are available to travel outside of the greater Los Angeles area for your wedding.  Contact us for long distance travel rates.

If you prefer a bilingual officiant to perform the ceremony in English and Spanish or English and French there will be a $50 charge for translation and additional time spent on preparation.

The I Do! – A Modern, yet Traditional, Non-Customized Ceremony or Vow Renewal

This package includes:

* Unlimited guest count and bridal party size
* A printed copy of your ceremony and vows
* Formal welcome
* Administering the oath of marriage
* Reading of vows (you may write your own)
* Exchange of rings
* Pronouncement of marriage and new last name (if applicable)
* Unlimited calls & emails
* Signing your marriage license as your non-denominational officiant/minister
*Certified mailing of your marriage license or in-person drop off to the Registrar-Recorder County Clerk

This non-customized traditional I DO ceremony is only $450

Please note that this package does not come with a consultation meeting or ceremony customization. If those features are important to you, then consider the Customized Ceremony package.

The Quick I Do – Just Make It Legal!

This is a legal signing of your marriage license at or near our office. If you prefer Studio City, Burbank, Inglewood, Van Nuys, Winnetka or Santa Monica let us know so that we may match you to the officiant closest to that location (pending availability).

This package includes:

* administering the oath of marriage
* signing / mailing of your legal documents via USPS 1st class mail
* unlimited calls / emails
* up to 2 guests as signing witnesses

If you would like a Quick I Do, we charge only $250

If you prefer a bilingual officiant to perform the ceremony in English and Spanish or English and French there will be a $50 charge for translation and additional time spent on preparation.

We do not travel for Quick I Do’s because this is just a legal signing (informal ceremony), not a wedding. They are usually done at or near our offices. If you are in an urgent situation and require us to travel, please call us to discuss. We are happy to accommodate clients in the hospital, or same-sex couples flying in for the day from other countries. When we make these exceptions, Quick I Do travel rates begin at $100 in our coverage area. Quick I Do travel rates double between 8am -10am and 4pm-7pm to accommodate LA traffic and travel time. *If there is holiday or unusual circumstance (such as a pandemic) where there is little to no traffic we will reduce the travel fee. There is a $75 holiday fee.

Marriage License Service

We understand that it is not always possible for you and your fiance to get to the court house during court hours, or that taking the time off to do that may cost more than having us get it for you.  LA Wedding Woman notaries, Emily, Jenny or Chris, will go to the courthouse and wait in line for you so you don’t have to. They will also handle all of the notarization to legally issue your license to you, as well as help you order certified copies of your license which you will need for name changes, health insurance, immigration and much more.

Here are a few requirements for us to obtain this license for you:

  • You must pre-pay for this service directly to your notary (Emily, Jenny or Chris) via Venmo or Paypal
  • Complete the Confidential License Application that we will send you upon receipt of payment
  • Both of you must be present when you meet them for your license
  • Both of you must show valid identification (DL, passport, military ID – if you’re not sure please email us)
  • Your address on your driver’s license does not need to be current but the license must not be expired
  • You will be receiving a CONFIDENTIAL license, not a PUBLIC license (no witnesses required, not public record)
  • Your license must be signed in the state of California.
  • Divorce within 2 years must be proven with a divorce decree
  • You do not need to share an address but you must be living together already

Yes we can issue you your license the same day that you call, but we do appreciate atleast 48 hours notice (though we know this is not always possible).

We are available to obtain a marriage license on your behalf and complete all of your paperwork for certified copies for only $215 plus the cost of the license ($85). You will receive a $50 discount if you’re including it with one of our ceremonies! Same day licenses will increase this service rate by $100.

The registrars office does NOT offer expedited licenses, though they do offer to help military couples if you are both leaving the state as well as hospital patients who are near the end of life.

A certified copy of your marriage license costs $15. This is not included in this service however the paperwork to order copies is included. Please bring a check made out to “RRCC” for however many copies you’d like when you meet your notary. One copy is $15, Two is $30 and so on. You may order as many as you’d like. If you’re changing your name or working with immigration we suggested getting two or more.

Ceremony Rehearsal
Rehearsals are very easy, contrary to rumor. The majority of the weddings we officiate do not require us to physically attend your rehearsal, which saves you money!

Many couples (and venues) have a wedding coordinator who will help you with your ceremony walk-through, bridal party line-up, roles and responsibilities, etc. For those who do not have a coordinator, we can certainly help you; and, more times than not, we can help you plan your entire line-up, ceremony roles, processional and recessional right over the phone (at no charge). If we are not attending your rehearsal, we can provide you with a processional outline based on the details we mapped out at our planning or phone meeting.

If you do wish for us to join you or to coordinate your bridal party during rehearsal, we do this for a flat rate of $300 within our service area.  Please check with us to make sure your rehearsal date is available. If your chosen officiant is not available for rehearsal, we’d be happy to have one of our staff officiants attend on their behalf.

Travel
For ceremony locations outside of our travel area (each direction) from zip code: 90041 we charge a travel rate of $100 plus $0.50 cents per mile for each additional mile to and from. Example: 90 miles is $190.

Weddings over 80 miles will include a hotel stay. We do have a few officiants who may waive this cost if they live closer to your ceremony address so please inquire for more info.

 Prison Weddings

Q: My partner is incarcerated. Can we still get married?

A: Yes, our Officiants will be happy to help you through this challenging (but still very special) time. Though, there are a few steps to take before this can happen:

  • Filling out the two forms needed to apply for a marriage license at the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office (Affidavit of Inability to Appear and Marriage License Application forms).
  • You will need to complete the marriage authorization with the Sheriff Department, or the Department of Corrections, or the Federal Bureau of Prisons or with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), depending upon where the inmate is incarcerated. However, not all facilities require marriage approval request.  A background check will be done on you and the officiant.
  • You will need a notary to notarize the inability to appear form.
  • Your officiant will need to meet you at the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office to buy the marriage license with you once all the paperwork is in place.
  • LA Wedding Woman prices for prison start at $395, which includes one visit to the RRCC to obtain the marriage license with you, and for the prison ceremony in LA County. If additional appointments are needed, they will be priced at $125 an hour. Prison weddings outside LA County have a travel rate of $100 plus 50 cents per mile round trip.
