Sand Ceremony

The Unity Sand Ceremony elegantly captures the meaning of their two lives becoming one. And it creates a lasting keepsake of that special day.

The unity sand ceremony represents the flowing of two lives into a single stream.

There are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of grains of sand, and when poured together, can never be separated.

The blending of the sand represents the union not only of them but their friends and families as well.

The separate sands once poured into the unity vase can never be put back into their separate vases.

They are forever entwined just as the lives and loves of Bride and Groom.

Bride & Groom, you have come together today to change your life forever – adding a love, that can never dissipate, to a marriage that will withstand the test of time.

The sands of time bring unlimited possibilities, and the vessel that holds the sands of your lives represents a love that is larger than the beach you stand upon right now on your wedding day!

You will now combine sand from your individual jars into one single jar. Once the sand is mixed, it can never be separated and poured back into the individual jars!

The sand, just like their lives, which include their friends, their families, their ideas, their hopes, their possessions… will be joined together in harmony – each grain retaining its own individual quality, shape and form; and, when added together, the abundance is truly apparent, and very powerful, they will be – as one!

From this day forward, your world and your reason for living is a journey that you will take together, entwined in love and support! Love, like sand, is as old as the ages and sparkles in the light! This is the life you will begin… right now.
