The Family

LAWW Team2LA Wedding Woman is Los Angeles’s most trusted and compassionate wedding officiant family!

Established in 2004, we are third-generation wedding officiants. Growing up with our father and grandfather as wedding officiants (Justice of the Peace), it was only natural for us to follow in their footsteps.

In 2003, Arielle received her Ministry Certification from the Universal Life Church and became legally ordained to perform weddings, which was very exciting! Elysia became ordained in 2008 and has since brought on and personally trained a handful of close family friends as officiants to the business.

There are 8 officiants at the moment on our team, to cover any new client’s needs if one of us is already booked on a requested date. We are also notaries, and we issue marriage licenses to our clients if needed. Se habla español y français!

Nothing makes us happier than to participate in the joys and beauty of a couple’s most loving and sacred event – their wedding ceremony! It would be an honor to be a part of your wedding ceremony! If you should choose one of us as your officiant for your Customized ceremony, we will meet with you ahead of your wedding day to get to know you. This will help us create your ceremony to make it unique, just for you! It will give you a chance to get to know us and feel comfortable counting on us to help guide you to and through your ceremony.  Even without a customized meeting, we will be incredibly helpful in guiding you through writing your vows (or creating beautiful vows for your officiant to read on your behalf if you’re not comfortable speaking in front of your guests).

Meet the LA Wedding Women!

Arielle Haze

Ariele 2014I was born and raised in South Florida, and moved to Los Angeles, California in late 2003! I spent my childhood going to weddings with my dad, an at-the-time world-famous Wedding Officiant! Upon entering high school, I delved into my passion for photography and shot my first wedding at age 16. Over the next few years, I honed my skill as a photographer; and, upon college graduation, I began shooting weddings and events on a regular basis!

In 1999, I achieved my notary public commission from the state of Florida, followed in 2002 by my Ministry Certification from the Universal Life Church. I could now perform weddings, and that was a very exciting prospect!

In February 2004, a friend flew me back to Florida to photograph her wedding; but, unfortunately, her Officiant never showed up (she was stuck in traffic)! I was the only person available who was legally allowed to perform the ceremony; so, with laughter and professionalism, I officiated and photographed the wedding at the same time! One of my best wedding memories to date!

Now it’s your turn! Let’s make another amazing memory!

Elysia Skye

Elysia new headshot smallI came to Los Angeles in September 2000 and couldn’t have been happier when my sister decided to join me in LA in 2003.  With a background in theatre and running a part-time non-profit breast cancer organization, I am at my happiest when I can give back to my local community and facilitate a beautiful experience.

It was my dream come true when Arielle brought me into the business in 2008! My entire childhood was spent with our Father and Grandfather going to weddings that they officiated.  There is nothing as fulfilling as being a part of a couple’s most memorable day.  With half my family being Jewish and my mother raising me Buddhist (and now I’m married to a very handsome man who grew up Catholic), I choose to perform non-denomination ceremonies.

Some of the greatest weddings I’ve done have involved traditions from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and religions.  As well as the customized non-denominational ceremony, I offer a “light religious” service.  I have found many couples in LA have a religious background but are not practicing on a regular basis and would like to incorporate their God and honor their family with this version of the ceremony.  I can speak for all of us that our LGBT clients also bring us great joy and we are so happy that California is back on board and marriage equality is here to stay!

Your happy days are my happy days! Thank you in advance for your trust, and for inviting me into your most beautiful memories.

Tracy Lynch

I have been a Universal Life Minister for over 15 years – and I LOVE weddings! I am originally from the East Coast and have lived in DC, Chicago, and New Orleans before moving to Los Angeles. I was a child actress and singer and have always been very comfortable speaking in front of people. I love to create a tone for each wedding that is unique to the people involved – from light and sweet to a tad more religious and spiritual. I have a Christian background (raised Catholic), but I specialize in non-denominational ceremonies. There is no right or wrong ceremony – it is what YOU want that makes it right for you and the one you love.

I am honored to be a part of LA WEDDING WOMAN and to help facilitate ceremonies that are meaningful and beautiful. I have been a close family friend of Elysia and Arielle since 2005, and including me in this part of their journey is a huge blessing, and just makes sense. Your Wedding Day should be the most special and cherished day of your life and it is nothing less than a joy for me to help make that happen. We can create a custom ceremony that you and your family will love.

I look forward to speaking with you and hearing what would make your dreams come true about your wedding!

Maria Felipe

Maria FelipeI am an Ordained Minister through Pathways of Light and I emphasize the practice of helping people quiet their minds to better hear their Inner guidance, and in the process, strengthen their connection with God.  When I am not officiating weddings, I am available for baptisms, memorial services, and other ceremonies of life transition.  My passion to inspire others helped me start the first Spanish ministry at Unity of Burbank where I also speak on rotation at the English service.  Originally from Miami, I moved to pursue my dreams in Hollywood, and after great success in my field, I felt an inward calling to become a non-denominational minister.  I share a deep spiritual connection with the LA Wedding Women sisters and I feel so very blessed to be sharing my love of weddings through this incredible company!

Hola!

I am so honored to be a part of the magic and romance that is the wedding ceremony! I LOVE weddings!

As a Los Angeles native, I am a unique kind of minister for unique couples.  I believe that life is for living and love is for sharing.  As a world traveler, I have seen love in many forms and know that when you find someone special to share your life with, you deserve to celebrate your commitment in a way that best suits your needs and represents your values.

My goal is always to support you in making sure that your wedding is “Your Day”.  I look forward to working with you to plan the ceremony experience that best represents you as a couple, and to share with your loved ones the joy the that you two have found in one another. Here’s just a little more about me for fun – I’m also a physical therapist, a fire hooper, and an aerial dancer!

Christopher Rodriguez

The greatest source of joy in my life is being able to assist couples on the happiest day of theirs! My initial interest in weddings began through countless marathons of Say Yes to the Dress and My Fair Wedding with David Tutera with my sister. While in college, I began working with LA Wedding Woman as an intern, handling a portion of the administrative work under the joint guidance of Elysia and Sabrina. As time went by, I knew that I wanted to become more involved in the actual wedding ceremonies themselves and be a part of the action. Now, not only am I one of the voices that greet you when you call us, I am also the only bi-lingual male officiant on this team (or much better said, family) of lovely ladies.

One of my other passions is in event planning– seeing an idea grow and develop into the beautiful and intricate event that it was imagined to be. I’ve gained much of what I know about planning events while I attended the University of Southern California, where I was involved in a number of organizations focused on programming and events. With this base, and my growing experience through LA Wedding Woman, I look forward to making dreams of an ideal wedding into a stunning reality.

Michelle Rado

I believe in Love and it is a huge honor and privilege to be invited to participate in the wedding celebrations of beautiful couples that wish to share their Love with one another.

I am a non-denominational Ordained Ministerial Counselor through Pathways of Light®. In addition to officiating weddings, I am available to facilitate pre or post marriage Spiritual Relationship Counseling and all ceremonies of the heart, life transitions, and rites of passage such as Ceremony of the Elder, Ceremony of Light, Blessing of Newborn, Memorial Service, and more.

I was born in Los Angeles, raised on the Westside, and now call Agoura Hills home. When I am not officiating weddings, I produce a YouTube channel called “Bread Crumbs from the Soul” and enjoy sitting under the oak trees, feeding the wild birds, and feeling grateful for all of the many blessings in my life including being a part of the wonderful family at LA Wedding Woman.

Martina Exlerova

Coming to Los Angeles on my own as a 17-year-old high school graduate was life-changing. Born and raised in Slovakia (Eastern Europe), I fell in love with Los Angeles and its diverse community of people of many different nationalities and religions. When I had the pleasure to meet Elysia and the team at LA Wedding Woman, I realized how working with them, and in the wedding industry would be a dream job for me!

My background is in psychology, sociology, and health and wellness. This allows me to meet new people in the best settings possible. Helping couples plan a part of the most memorable day of their life is very fulfilling. I am grateful to be a valuable part of this incredible team!
